Alan Elliot

Alan has over 32 years of experience in the butchers’ industry and has owned and operated his own butchers for the fast five years. A keen family man, Alan loves working with his team, and is passionate about providing his customers with the best quality Scottish meat available. He loves what he does and looks forward to maintaining the customer relationships that he has built over the years.

Jennifer

Jennifer, who is Alan’s partner, has considerable experience in the butchery sector and other food establishments. Like her colleagues, Jennifer has up to date health and hygiene certificates and has over 15 years of experience in customer facing positions working with the public. Within the shop, there is a positive, happy working atmosphere which Jennifer is key in maintaining.

Sandie

Sandie is a counter assistant at Alan Elliot butchers. As Alan’s daughter, Sandie initially joined 5 years ago by helping around the shop at the weekends, but now works 4-5 days per week. With up to date health and hygiene certificates, Sandie has also gained her SVQ Level 3 in Butchery and Retail Skills.

Kirsty

Kirsty is a counter assistant at Alan Elliot butchers. At 27 years old, she has been working within the butchery trade for over eight years. Kirsty has up to date health and hygiene certificates along with a Level 2 in Butchery Retail Skills, Knife Skills and Butchering Lambs. In 2014, Kirsty welcomed the birth of her first child, and returned back to work on a part time basis afterwards.

Sam

Sam has been working with Alan for just over two years, and has been working within the butchery sector for almost eight years. As Alan’s ‘right hand man’ Sam is crucial in the day-to-day operations at the butchers, and although he is not part of the Elliott family, he is treated as if he was by Alan and the rest of the Elliots. Sam has butchery qualifications and up to date health and hygiene certificates.

Billy

Lewis is an apprentice at Alan Elliot Butchers. Working towards to gaining qualifications in Butchery and Retailing skills.
